Welcome to SCIPS

SCIPS is the largest one-stop-shop community organisation in Brisbane connecting industry with young people. The not-for-profit association was founded in Brisbane in 1998 and has connected well over 20,000 school students with employers for opportunities in the workplace.

SCIPS provides sound advice, programs and events to young people, employers and schools across Brisbane, creating diverse and productive pathways for students and school leavers.

SCIPS manages the processes involved in combining classroom learning with learning in the workplace and the wider community.

The business sector and schools realise that a relationship centred on providing young people with opportunities beyond the “school to university” model is good for the economy and good for business. More than 3000 businesses are involved with SCIPS through these programs each year.
